How this website collects and uses information.
MFI Accounting and Tax Solutions respects the confidentiality of the people and organisations that contact the firm. This notice explains what the website collects, why it is collected and how it is handled.
Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, work email, organisation, telephone number, selected service and message. If you contact us by email, we receive the information included in that email.
We also collect limited technical information for anonymous analytics, such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring page and timestamps. Analytics should truncate or anonymise IP addresses before they are retained and used for aggregated reporting. We do not use analytics to identify or profile visitors.
How information is used
We use contact information to respond to enquiries, understand the support a business needs, route the enquiry to the appropriate MFI team member and manage a prospective or existing relationship. We use anonymous analytics to understand how the website is used and improve its content, accessibility and performance.
We do not sell personal information, use it for unrelated marketing or use information submitted through an enquiry to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Service providers and retention
The contact form uses EmailJS to transmit your submitted message to info@mfiaccounting.com.ng. EmailJS processes the request as a communications service provider and may process request metadata under its own privacy and security terms. Our hosting, analytics and other technology providers may also process limited information strictly to provide their services. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legitimate rights.
We retain contact enquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the relationship and meet applicable professional, legal or regulatory obligations. Analytics should be retained in an aggregated or otherwise de-identified form for no longer than needed for website reporting.
Security and your choices
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can also control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings.
